MUSIC

Rush Morgan is a South Carolina based singer-songwriter and band leader. The man is a kaleidoscope of Americana/Folk Rock being held by old soul and classic rockers. Getting his start playing coffee shops, he's graduated to being an Upstate renowned talent and a national touring artist. With the release of his EP "River Stone" in 2017 he's drawn listeners of Roots, Folk, and Americana the same. Morgan cut his teeth on the rings of artists like Jackson Browne, Rayland Baxter, and Gillian Welch. They seem to have "spun a hushed, intimate series of songs into indelible melodies that moves from wistful folk-pop to warm, understated soul with the skill of a true musical omnivore."  Over the past 10 years of playing out, Morgan has harvested his talent into a sharp point of skill through passion and consistency. He spent a year of his life living in Nashville cultivating his songwriting chops as well as studying audio engineering and music business at Dark Horse Institute, forming the double edged sword of the life he wants to live in music. Outside of Morgan, the band consists of music theory and performance college graduates who sweat quality and professionalism; Appearing on bills alongside Peter Bradley Adams, Taylor John Williams, and much more.
